Throughout October, El Duende presents a programme bringing together established artists and emerging flamenco talents. Different personalities and approaches to dance will take turns on stage, offering an intimate, engaging and emotional experience every night on Barcelona’s La Rambla.

Carlos Velázquez

An experienced flamenco dancer trained at Madrid’s Royal Conservatory and Amor de Dios. He has performed internationally as a soloist with leading companies.

Pedro Medrano

A Barcelona-born dancer with a diploma in Spanish Dance from the Institut del Teatre. He has performed at the Jerez Festival and across Europe, Asia and Australia.

Azahar Tortajada

A young flamenco dancer trained with artists including Farruquito, Belén López and La Lupi. She won the CreArte competition in 2022 and La Truco in 2023.

Lorena Oliva

A Barcelona-born dancer and Institut del Teatre graduate. She has worked with leading companies, festivals and tablaos, and premiered her solo production Nuclear in 2021.

Auxi Fernández

A flamenco dancer and actress from Cádiz who performed with Sara Baras’ company. She has toured Spain, the United States and Japan.

Montserrat Martínez

A Cuban dancer trained in Spanish Dance and Flamenco. She began studying at four and has developed an international stage career from Barcelona.

Sebastián Fernández “El Chino”

A young dancer from Sant Roc, Badalona, born into a family closely connected to flamenco. He stands out for his rhythm, stage presence and personality.

Paula Salazar

A Sevillian dancer whose style combines elegance and character. She was named Revelation Artist at the 2019 Jerez Festival and received an award at the Festival del Cante de las Minas.

Lola Reyes

A Barcelona-born dancer who began training at six. She continues refining her flamenco with renowned artists and performs regularly in the city’s tablaos.

Vanesa Coloma

A Madrid-born dancer and graduate of Madrid’s Royal Dance Conservatory. Winner of the Perla de Cádiz, she has created productions including FlamenKlórica and Castiza.

Sergio Barroso

A flamenco dancer and choreographer linked to the Paca García Flamenco School and Ballet Flamenco Llobregat. He co-created the production ¡Silencio!

Ileana Gómez

A US-born dancer based in Madrid with a master’s degree specialising in flamenco. She received an award at the La Perla National Alegrías Dance Competition.

Lucía “La Bronce”

A Sevillian dancer trained at the Andalusian Dance Centre and Cristina Heeren Foundation. A member of Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, she won the Desplante Award in 2026.

Susana Escoda

A flamenco dancer from L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and winner of the Carmen Amaya Award. She has built an extensive career as a soloist across Europe and Japan.
